Enjoy a peaceful and pleasant hike along the South Huron trail. The trail is walkable in all seasons and features 8km of picturesque adventuring through Ausable River Valley, nestled between MacNaughton Park in Exeter and Morrison Dam Conservation Area on Morrison Line. The river, trees, birds, and wildlife come together to make for an all-around ideal setting in which to explore and appreciate nature. It’s also one of the best places to see the area’s unique white squirrels. On our way home, we stop at Hullett Marsh for some birdwatching. The Huron Provincial Wilderness Area consists of seven different trails and dyke systems. The Area is home to a wide variety of ecosystems, wildlife, vistas, and plants- all of which can be seen on the trails and viewing stands.
