Take a literary landscape tour in Alice Munro’s home town of Wingham. Thursday, September 26th. 9:15 a.m-1 p.m.

Nobel Prize winning author Alice Munro is revered as a fundamental cornerstone in Canadian literature. Her approach to short stories has revolutionized the art form and she is admired on an international scale. In spite of this formidable success, Munro comes from humble beginnings; she hails from Wingham, Ontario. This gorgeous and untouched turn-of-the-century town is nestled in the heart of Huron County and is a mere hour west of Stratford. Actor and playwright Kelly McIntosh will take you on an eye-opening tour of the real places which make up many of Munro’s fictitious stories. McIntosh allows you to put yourself at the centre of Alice Munro’s incredulous imagination and mingle with the true-to-life characters who will share with you the ‘real’ story’. All this takes place across the singularly gothic landscape of Huron County and makes for a remarkable experience for any Munro fan.
