Morning: Elora Gorge is a beautiful and spectacular natural area with 22 metre high cliffs, riverside trails and scenic lookouts to the gorge. Zipline 200 feet along the river as it cuts a jagged swath through dramatic limestone cliffs, high above the water’s surface. At the end, rappel down the rockface. Of course, no hero is complete without a full complement of gear, so safety helmets and harnesses, as well as a comprehensive lesson.
Picnic: During a family picnic, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery of the river and large mature trees. You will be well briefed by a local historian on Elora before we take a stroll into the town.
Afternoon: On the way back to Stratford, we will drive through the Amish farming community of Milbank and drop into Anna Mae's Bakery, a well known establishment where customers need to arrive early to get a taste of Amish cooking.
